Arthur J. Maust, 77, of Westerville, passed away on Saturday, January 24, 2015. He was born on April 11, 1937, in Morgantown, West Virginia, to the late George and Sylvia (King) Maust.
Arthur graduated from West Virginia School for the Deaf and went on to attend seminary. He was employed with the Greer Company in West Virginia and the Chilton Company in Pennsylvania as a printer for many years.
Arthur was a member of Spring Road Church of Christ. He loved playing DINGO and BINGO with friends at Columbus Colony Housing. He was a member of the Columbus Association for the Deaf (CAD). Arthur enjoyed going on adventures with his family. He had a wonderful sense of humor and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
In addition to his parents, Arthur was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Maust.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 51 years, Edith Stahl Maust; two children, David (Bobbie) Maust of Powell, OH, and Shirley Maust (Verica Marjanovic) of Australia; and grandsons, Joshua Maust and Jeramiah Menear.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 30, 2015 at 6pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd., Columbus with Minister Robin Weier officiating.
