Aaron R. Graves

Aaron R. Graves, Age 88 went home to be with the lord. Sunrise in 1935 and Sunset January 28,2024. Aaron was born to Gabriel P Graves and Jenny Brown 1935 in Yanceyville, NC. Aaron had an 9th grade education and began working as a sharecropper, and then became a truck driver, after many years as a truck driver he met and married his beloved wife Estella Hayes They raised four sons together from their union/marriage Willie, Robert, Roland and Andre. He landed a job with the City of Columbus as City Engineer and he worked there for 44 years and then retired. Aaron enjoyed and loved building things and carpentry, very loving and good fearing man who loved helping people, he was admired as a skilled boxer. He was preceded in death by has parents Gabriel and Jenny Graves, son Roland Graves Left to cherish his memories are has children Willie & Lillie McClure, Robert & Tina McClure, Andre & Anitra Graves, (Brother) Elijah & Connie Graves, (Sisters) Dorothy Strayhorn, Lattie M. Bigelow, Mattie Bigelow and Rebecca Saunders. Left Cherish is memories are Grandchildren, Willie Jr., Kelley, Trina, Tasha, Tanya, Nyree, Brea, Aundrea, Shyanne, Robert Jr./ Bo and also to cherish his memories are (18) Great Grandchildren and host of nephew , nieces and cousins.
