Abbie Lee Marsh, 96, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away March 16, 2022.

She was born in Columbus, Ohio on December 9, 1925 to the late Elbert E. and Margaret R. Ellis (Danielson).

She is preceded in death by her husbands, John M. Rucker, Francis L. Conn, Robert B. Marsh; brother, Earl E. (Ailwyn R.) Ellis; nephew, Stephen P. Ellis; as well as her, Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and Friends.

Living children, Michael Rucker of Columbus, Caryl (Kenneth) Storck of Columbus, Patricia Porter of Columbus, Debbie Hinkle of Johnstown, Sue Ann Fancelli of Columbus; grandchildren, Rafael Santa-Maria Jr. of Ashville, AL, Brian Ballard of Florida, Kevin (Natalie) Ballard of Dublin, Ohio, Ryan (Maggie) Storck of Powell, Ohio, Jeremy (Becca) Bird of New Smyrna Beach, Florida; Anthony Fancelli of Columbus, Ohio, Chase Thompson of Columbus, OH; great grandchildren, Aubre Dustin of Gulf Shores, AL, Ashly and Amelia Bird of New Smyrna Beach, FL, Juliette Ballard of Dublin, OH, Sydney Storck of Powell, Ohio; nephew, Rob Ellis of Florida; and great niece, Tatiana Ellis of Florida.

Abbie was a 1944 graduate of North High School and a member of the North High Alumni, Eastern Star, and Clintonville Women's Club.

She was a member of the Indianola Church of Christ.

Abbie Lee worked as a Bakery Assistant in her family's bakery after school and on weekends during her high school years. She then took a position as a secretary at the C&SOE where she worked for four years before taking a secretarial position at the Children's Psychiatric Hospital working for five years with Dr. Norman S. Brandes. When Dr. Brandes opened his private practice in Columbus, Abbie Lee became his Executive Assistant where she remained for 33 years until Dr. Brandes retired. Abbie Lee's final job was at Banc One Securities where she worked for six years before permanently retiring.

She was a very friendly, kind and loving woman who lived by her own rules; she was a character. She will truly be missed by those who knew and loved her.
