Preceded in death by Ceaphus Patterson, Jesse Arthur Lee Sheppard II, husband Robert "Shaka" McNair, and Jesse Arthur Lee Sheppard III (Marcia). Afatamah is survived by mother Lilian (Crawford) Patterson, her children Curtis (Yodit) Denham, Kevin Denham, Keith Denham, Kito (Keisha) Denham, Kelly Reed, Michael Porter, Rochon McNair, Nicole Rush, Tia Cowan, Lavon Thomas, Charles Thomas, Winnona (Tim) Morrow. Grandchildren Tiffany, Ashanti, Destini, De'ja, Nomalanga (Felix), Yosef, Madison and many other grandchildren and great grandchildren. Siblings Ceaphus (Debbie) Patterson Jr, Keith Patterson, Karla (Mark) Norman, Victor (Janet) Sheppard, Debbie Sheppard. Ruth Sheppard, Harry (Charlotte) Sheppard, and LaTonya Robinson. K-9 companion SaSa.
