Agnes L. Hope, 86, passed away Saturday, August 26, 2006, in Grove City. Born March 15, 1920, to William and Agnes (Vagnier) Whitesell in Columbus, Agnes is preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Hope; brother, William Whitesell; and sister, Marie Hoffman. Survivors include her children; Loretta (Earl) Chase, Elizabeth Bayes, James (June) Hope, Diane (Robert) Shyrigh, Susan Nutt; 13 grandchildren 12 great grandchildren; a special cousin, Virginia Whitesell. A celebration of Agnes's life will be held at 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 29, 2006 with visitation to follow at the Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio. In liew of flowers, donations may be made to Monterey Care Center's Activity Fund. Condolences at www.newcomerfamily.com.
