Alan Rinard, 80, passed away on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 in Westerville, OH.
He was born on March 26, 1941 in Van Wert, Ohio to the late Robert and Marcile Rinard.
Alan is survived by his wife of 58 years, Beth Rinard; daughters, Barbara (Jeffrey) Horvath, Michelle Rinard; sisters, Elaine Varalla, Kathy (Al) Cook, Linda Snyder, Debra Rinard; many nieces, nephews and a host of family and friends.
Alan was an alumnus and avid fan of The Ohio State University Buckeyes. Alan worked for Educator & Executive Insurance Company, Ohio Insurance Institute and Red Roof Inn. He enjoyed golfing, tinkering with computers and playing cards.
The family will have a private ceremony at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Alan's honor to the American Diabetes Association.
