Alan Triplett
July 8, 1953 — December 14, 2021
Alan Triplett, age 68, born in Columbus, Ohio on July 8, 1953 and lived in Columbus, passed on December 14, 2021 due to heart issues and Covid 19. He was preceded in death by parents Ralph and Roberta (Steele) Triplett and brother Ivan Triplett. He is survived by his companion Donia Arnold, sister Polly Mowery of Choctaw Lake and brother Mark Triplett of Grove City and his nieces and nephews: Marcia (Adam) Woody, Michael (Becky) Parsons, Victoria Moyer-Parsons, Brett (Melody) Triplett and Matthew (Amanda) Triplett. Also surviving are ten great nieces and nephews, numerous cousins, friends and his beloved cat Baxter.
A 1971 graduate of Grove City High School, he retired as a heavy equipment operator but was also a talented craftsman!
He enjoyed his retirement with his Harley motorcycle named "Sweet Melissa".
He had a vast collection of Harley memorabilia and loved all things Western.
Visitation for Alan will be held at the Grove City Newcomer Funeral Home, 3393 Broadway on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at 11:00 with a service at 12:00 noon by Rev. Steven Hensinger.
Internment at Concord Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Cat Welfare Association, 741 Wetmore Rd, Columbus, OH 43214.
