Albert F. Schulze Sr., 88, of Columbus, passed away Tuesday, March 25, 2008 at St. Ann's Hospital. He was born May 17, 1919, in Columbus, son of the late William and Grace Schulze. In addition to his parents, Albert is preceded in death by his wife, Eunice Imes Schulze; son, Albert F. "Sonny" Schulze and five brothers. He served in the Navy during WWII and was the former owner of Schulze Bakery. Albert was also a member of the American Legion Post #0082, Amvets Post #0089 and V.F.W. Post #1598. He is survived by his daughter-in-law, Jackie Schulze; grandchildren, Cammy (Greg) Gray and Albert F. "Freddie" Schulze III; great grandchildren, Joseph and Sammy Gray; brother, Ray (Joyce) Schulze; sisters, Hannah Marie Fast and Margaret Schulze; sisters-in-law, Vivian, Ruby and Laretta; beloved buddy, Bert. Visitation will be Thursday, March 27, 2008 from 4:00-8:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home N.E. Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus. Funeral service will be Friday, March 28, 2008 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
