Albert "Gene" Gaston, 81, passed away on Friday, March 31, 2023 in Centerburg, Ohio.
He was born on April 2, 1941 in Columbus, Ohio to the late William Albert Gaston and Violet Gaston.
Gene is survived by wife of 60 years, Paulette Gaston; son, Brian (Candace) Gaston; grandchildren, Cianna (Devin Durbin) Gaston, Brody Gaston, sisters-in-law, Eleanor Mankin, Sandra (Jack) Moore, Sharon (John) Bland; cousin, Dianna (Dean) Dawley and a host of family and friends.
He loved boating and metal detecting, where he found some pretty interesting things and met several good friends.
Family will receive friends on Friday, April 7, 2023 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Columbus Northeast Chapel, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, Ohio 43231 with a funeral service immediately following 1:00 pm also at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Columbus Northeast Chapel. He will be laid to rest at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
