Alfred Eugene "Tony" Ashby, 67, of Columbus, passed away Thursday, December 1, 2011 at Grant Medical Center. He was born November 11, 1944 in Canton, son of the late John and Luwilda Ashby. Tony is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Dareth Ashby; beloved children Joel Curtis Ashby, Darren (Tabitha) Ashby, Kelly (Edward) White and Kori (Seth) Lingo; grandchildren, Ashton, Cailey, Aubrie, Jaydn, Mallory, Cameron, Brendon, Mylaye and Josiah; great grandchildren, Landen, Alaya, Kayah, Aaven, Kyryn and Xavier; brothers, Howard and Poncho; sisters, Betty, Esther and Serena. Memorial service will be Monday, December 5, 2011 at 6:00 PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 4151 Hickman Rd. Columbus, OH 43224. Tony was a wonderful and loving husband, dad and grandpa, he will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege to know him. Time and unforeseen occurrences befall us all but our hope is in Jehovah.
