Alice Rose, 64, of Columbus, passed away Sunday, August 29, 2010. She was born May 16, 1946, in Belfry, KY, daughter of the late Armel Gillman and Flossie Vanover Price. In addition to her parents, Alice was preceded in death by her fiancé, Ritchie Gelvin; son, Scotty Wright; brother, Sam Price; sisters, Billie Lamb, Ernie Rose and Betty Bell. She is survived by her daughters, Tammy (Brent) Baumgardner, Angie (Big Larry) Rose and Amber (Ronald) Allen; brothers, John Price and Harry (Robin) Gillman; sister, Shirley Potter; eighteen grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, friends and loved ones. Visitation will be Friday, September 3, 2010 from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway Grove City. Funeral service will be Saturday, September 4, 2010 at 3:00 PM at the funeral home, with visitation one hour prior to services.
