Alice Wallis

Alice May Wallis, 82, met the Lord on December 17, 2008 after a long struggle with cancer. She was born March 18, 1926 in Villa Park, IL to the late Andrew and Cassie Springer. She is preceded in death by her sisters, Lela Myler, Esther Edwards, Josephine Edwards, Catherine Wolatz, Jennie Weiher; brothers, Louis and David Springer. Alice is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Samuel; daughters Sherry (Jan) Lesiak and Michelle (Tom) Morris; sons, Thomas (Jackie) Wallis and Charles Wallis; 5 grandchildren. Alice traveled extensively throughout the world with her military husband and family. Alice retired after working 20 years with Mt.Bell, U.S. West, and Quest, after starting in 1943 as a telephone operator. A memorial service will be held at 11 A.M. on December 27, 2008 at Worthington Christian Church 8145 N. High St. Columbus, OH 43235. Arrangements entrusted to Newcomer Funeral Home NE Chapel, 3047 E.
