Alma J. Paige, 64, of Columbus, passed away Saturday, November 24, 2007 at St. Ann's Hospital. She was born July 28, 1943, in Floyd Co., KY. Alma is survived by her sons, David (Linda) Henson and Scott (Lisa) Paige; grandchildren, Joshua and Stephanie; brother, Ricky (Darlene) Henson; sisters, Bonnie Meade, Loretta (Phillip) Riley and Anna Sue (Conrad A.) Totten; former husband, Luther Paige and brother-in-law, Kermit Paige. She is preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Minnie Slone Henson; brothers, Clifford and Glennis Henson; sisters, Edith Henson, Codie Newsome, Pauline Stanley, Jeanette Bishop, Geneva Alkins and Madlene Moore. Memorial service will be Tuesday, November 27, 2007 at 6:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home N.E. Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, with visitation from 5:00-6:00 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Multiple Myeloma Foundation c/o The James Development Office 660 Ackerman Road P.O. Box 183112 Columbus, Ohio 43218-3112.
