Alma Violet Parsons, 64, passed away Sunday, Jan. 2, 2011 at 10:03AM. Alma was born April 21, 1947 to Wilmer and Katherine (Williams) Rogers. She married Clyde H. Parsons, Jr. in 1967. Alma was an Account Consultant with Qwest Communications where she worked for 19 years. Survived by her husband, Clyde; daughter, Lara Brancato: sons, Michael Parsons and William Parsons; sister, Ruth Detchon; grandsons Zachary, Dane and Brent Brancato and Ryan Parsons. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, Jan. 9, 2011 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home and Crematory, 3393 Broadway, SW Chapel, Grove City, OH with a memorial service immediately following at 1:00 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to Riverside Radiation and Oncology Foundation, 3535 Olentangy River Rd., Columbus, OH 43214.
