Alpha Dotson, 90, of Delaware, Ohio, passed away May 1, 2022.
She was born in Marlbone, WV on November 24, 1931 to the late Mitchell and Elizabeth (Lawson) Parsley.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years Robert Dotson; siblings, Hayden Parsley, Howard Parsley, Homer Parsley, Robert Parsley, Marie Neely, Annis Etter, Loraine Sammons, Lillian Brumfield.
Surviving family includes children, Sharon Kay (Daniel) Baglione, Dennis (Karen) Dotson; grandchildren, Steven Siddell, Shea (Mandy) Siddell, Shelly (Robert) Croninger, Shannon (Stephen) Mason, Jonathan (Ashley) Baglione, Joshua Baglione, Caleb (Nicole) Dotson, Cassie (Stephen) Lauderdale; twenty great grandchildren; as well as many other loving extended family and friends.
Alpha was an avid bowler, spending her time bowling with the Southern Baptist League in Ohio and the Women's Club in Florida. She loved to make ceramic gifts, her specialty was little ceramic Santa Claus' for her friends and family. Alpha was a quilter and would create beautiful quilts for those whom she loved.
Alpha was an amazing wife, mother, and grandmother and will be truly missed.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm Thursday, May 5th, 2022, with a Funeral Service immediately following at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3047 East Dublin Granville Road, Columbus - OH 43231.
