Alvin A. Allen, 48, of Columbus, passed away December 8, 2006. Alvin is survived by his wife, Kelly Ann Allen; daughters, Megan Allen, Christin Allen; mother, Helen Allen; father, Robert Allen; sisters, Carolyn (William) Climer, Mary (David) Whaley, Patty (Jerry) Perrigo, Dorothy (Mark) Rodecker; brother, Robert (Rebecca) Allen and numerous nieces and nephews. Alvin was a veteran of the US Army and was very patriotic. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Alvin loved the Buckeyes but most of all he loved his family. Visitation will be held 4:00-8:00PM Wednesday, December 13, 2006 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio. Funeral services will be held 2:30PM Thursday, December 14, 2006 at the funeral home. Interment will be at Green Lawn Cemetery. Messages of condolence may be left at www.NewcomerFamily.com
