Alvin E. Dudley, at peace at last. Alvin was preceded by parents, Herman and Daisy Edward Dudley; brothers, Charles and Allen; sisters, Rowena and Connie; dear friend and sister in law, Glendine Dudley; father and mother in law, Ray and Esta Moore. Alvin is survived by his wife of 48 ½ years Wilma; son, David; daughters, Robbin (Travis) Hicks, Amy (Dan) Lang, Bridget (Chuck) Maynard; grandchildren, Rebecca (Barry) Whittington, Aimee Dudley, Brianna Lang (Matt Lehosit), Josh Weldon, D.J. Lang, Mystee Dudley, Dustin Lang, Blake Lang, Joey Holbrook, Torii Hicks, Rio Hagerman, T.J. Hicks; great grandchildren, Lucas and Peyton Whittington; brothers, Larry (Nancy) Dudley, Ermil (Melba) Dudley, David Dudley; sisters, Lillian Faulkner, Marcella (Joe) Nemer, Mavis Ashcraft, Mary Ellen Crabtree, Gay Barton, Nella (Shardon) Sammons, Elaine Russell; and a host of nieces and nephews. Alvin was a longtime Bowhunter Education Instructor, Life Member and Advisor for the Ohio Bowhunters Association and Life Member of Apache Bowhunters Club. Alvin was well loved and admired by all who crossed his path of life and will be missed deeply. Visitation Thursday, January 19, 2012 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Funeral Service Friday, January 20, 2012 at 11 am at the Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Franklin Hills Memory Garden, Canal Winchester, OH.
