Amanda Porter

Amanda Mae Porter of Wharton, passed away January 25, 2004 at Villa Angela Care Center in Columbus. She was born September 7, 1915 in Wyandot County to Harvey & Gerdy (Searfoss) Southward. Preceded in death by her husband James Paul Porter; son Monte Porter; parents; brothers Harold, George Southward; sisters Oral Clinger, Rosie Southward. Survived by daughter Mona (Raymond) Baker of Columbus; sisters Nellie Bostater, Delphia (AL) Boutwell both of Upper Sandusky; brother Russell (Eleanor) Southward of Kenton; Twelve Grandchildren, Thirty-six Great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Amanda was a faithful Jehovah's Witness since the 1950's. She was dedicated to preaching and disciple making work commanded by Jesus at Matthew 28:19. Amanda life will be remembered at a Memorial service on Saturday, January 31, 2004 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses 10819 SR 53 in Upper Sandusky, Ohio.
