Anastasios Thomas Weaver

May 23, 2005 — September 8, 2024

Anastasios Thomas Weaver, affectionately known as Taso, was born on May 23, 2005, in Columbus, Ohio, and left our world far too soon on September 8, 2024. In his brief time with us, Taso brightened the lives of everyone around him with his bright spirit and love for life.

Taso graduated from Central Crossing High School on June 1, 2024, a milestone that he celebrated with pride and joy. Known for his infectious laughter and upbeat personality, he brought warmth to every gathering and comfort to those in need. He felt a genuine connection to all living creatures, especially animals, and his heart was always open to fostering new friendships and nurturing those he loved.

A true lover of all things Pokémon, Taso delighted in his extensive collection, often sharing his passion with anyone willing to listen. He carried a playful spirit, at times sassily engaging with his sister and enjoying friendly bouts of boxing with his brother. Taso's laughter rang out like music; he loved to sing and confidently proclaimed himself to have "a nice voice."

His interests extended beyond the world of Pokémon; Taso had a special fondness for soccer and baseball. He was always eager to explore new places and travel, making memories that would last a lifetime. He had a unique sense of joy that captivated friends and family alike, and his vibrant energy will be greatly missed.

Taso is survived by his loving family, including his father, David Weaver, and mother, Parthena Weaver. He leaves behind his cherished brother, Ahileas Weaver, and his sister, Aikaterini Weaver. The family circle is completed by his beloved grandmother, Evangelia Tsekretsidis, and grandfathers, Weldon Smoot and David Weaver, Sr. He is also survived by his uncle, Harilaos (Sarah) Tsekretsidis, cousins Leonidas and Andreas Tsekretsidis, as well as his aunts, Dimitra Tsekretsidis and Stelliani (Anthony) Ciullo, along with cousins Evangelia and Alexis Ciullo.

Preceding him in death were his grandmother, Wilma Smoot, and grandfather, Anastosios Tsekretsidis. Although Taso's life was brief, his impact on those who knew him will resonate forever. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends, reminding us all of the joy he brought into our lives through his love and laughter. Taso will never be forgotten, and his spirit will continue to inspire those who carry his memory forward.
