Angela "Angie" Marie Sloop, 63, passed away suddenly at her home on July 26, 2013. Born in Columbus, Ohio on November 1, 1949, she joins her parents John and Margaret Bracken in eternal peace. Although she spent many of her later years battling chronic pain and disability brought on by severe rheumatoid arthritis, her smile, laughter, and love of life never faded.
A retired bus driver from the Columbus Public School District, she later shined as a small business owner and co-founder of A&S Hauling where she received awards for her customer service and attention to detail. Angie enjoyed travel and loved animals, particularly her birds. She was active in central Ohio bird clubs and at one time owned an aviary of more than twenty birds including parrots.
She leaves loving memories to be cherished by her children Kirsten Van Gundy, Brent Sloop and Jodie (Mike) Cole, her grandchildren Kaitlin DePuy, Miranda Morris, Michael and Gabrielle Van Gundy and Zachary Sloop. She is survived by her adoring sister and best friend Jacque (Don) Manson, her nephew Darrin (Terri) Leist, and niece Khrystine (Chris) Duncan, great nieces and great nephews, and special friends Jim and Ryan Lanoy.
The family wishes to thank all who cared for Angie during her many surgeries, and hospitalizations.

"Do not stand at my grave and weep, I am not there… I do not sleep. I am the thousand winds that blow… I am the diamond glints on snow… I am the sunlight on ripened grain… I am the gentle autumn rain. When you waken in the morning's hush, I am the swift uplifting rush Of gentle birds in circling flight… I am the soft star that shines at night. Do not stand at my grave and cry— I am not there… I did not die…"
