Angela Kay Thacker

Angela Kay "Libby" Thacker, 50, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away March 23, 2024. She was born on May 11, 1973 to parents Hershel Thacker Sr. and Karen Lee Hayes.

Libby loved to play slots on her phone, being outdoors, and her scratch off tickets. She never met a stranger and was a great friend to many, and had a heart of gold. She above all was a great mother and grandma to her family. Libby was an excellent cook as she enjoyed cooking for her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers; Hershel Thacker Jr. and Robert Thacker and a daughter Candy Marcum. Surviving family includes, daughters; Angela Mae (Steven Gussler) Ogier, Mary (William Oliver), Melissa Marcum, and Holly Ogier, grandchildren; Madelynn, William, Carson, and Ella, Siblings; Vivian "Butterball" Thacker, Jack Thacker, Denise Mullins, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation for friends and family will be held from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at Newcomer South West Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm, Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at the funeral home. Libby will be laid to rest at Obetz Cemetery.
