Ann L. Barrett, 74, of Columbus, passed away peacefully at home after a long illness on Sunday, January 8, 2012, surrounded by her loving family. Ann was born on August 7, 1937 in Columbus, OH to the late James and Margaret Kendrick. She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years Tom Barrett; by her children Tom Barrett Jr. and Tony Barrett; grandchildren, Tommy, TJ, Brian and Karrie; 8 great-grandchildren; brothers, Howard (Rose) Kendrick, James (Nancy) Kendrick; sisters, Mary (Roger) Riffle and Shirley (Ivan) Peters; numerous nieces, nephews and life long friend, Nancy Swisher. Ann is a graduate of Central High School class of 1955 and a member of Christian Mothers. A funeral mass will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, January 13, 2012 at Holy Family Church, 584 West Broad St., Columbus, OH 43215.
