Anna Berridge

Anna Berridge, 101, passed away on Sunday, October 6, 2024, in Spring Hill, Florida. Anna was born on June 30, 1923, in Frankfort, Indiana to Vern and Eva (Young) Hanson.

Anna is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Orrie O. Berridge, her daughter, Barbara Williamson; her sons-in-law, Jack Edwards, Charlie Showalter, Bill Cook, Larry Williamson, and Bob Williamson; and her daughters-in-law, Peggy Berridge, Linda Berridge, and Angel Berridge. She was also preceded in death by her siblings (Dessi, Joe, Gene, John, Hazel, Orpha, Ralph, Harry, Kenny, and Raymond) as well as some grandchildren which was always especially difficult and painful for her.

She is survived by children: Howard (Jane) Berridge, Opal Edwards, Linda Showalter, Phyllis Cook, Rose Williamson, Bob Berridge, Tom Berridge, George (Brenda) Berridge, Blanche (Ray) Muntz, Gloria (Jerry) Harper, John Berridge, Ed (Mary) Berridge, Bill (Mary) Berridge, Deb (Brian) Horne, Pam (Earl) Jakeway and Jack (BethAnne) Berridge. She is also survived by her sister, Florence Slonaker as well as by over 115 grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and great-great-great-grandchildren. She was blessed to live long enough to see 6 Generations – and we were all so very blessed to have her with us for so long.

Anna enjoyed bowling (she bowled into her 80s), scrapbooking, camping, reading, watching any activity she could of her grandchildren, and shopping with her daughter Pam (if shopping were an Olympic sport, they would have easily won Gold Medals!). She loved spending time at Disneyworld with her family. 

Family will receive friends on Saturday, October 19th from 8:30 am to 9:30 am at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Columbus Northwest Chapel, 10051 Brewster Lane, Powell, Ohio 43065. A funeral service will immediately follow. She will be laid to rest at Green Hill Cemetery in Johnstown, OH next to her beloved husband.
