Anna Rosemary Carney

Anna Rosemary Carney, 90, of Columbus Ohio, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on August 10, 2022.
She was born in Waterford, OH on September 23, 1931 to the late John Harold and Clara (Huck) Pottmeyer.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 59 years, Lester "Les" M. Carney Jr.; son, Lawrence E. Carney; siblings, Elaine Schwendman and Francis Pottmeyer.
Surviving family includes children; Diane (Randy), Kevin J.; seven grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; siblings, Mark, Thomas, Evelyn, Carolyn, Rita, Joan; as well as many other loving extended family and friends.
Anna loved to travel and spend her winters in Florida.
She was a longtime member of St. Matthias Catholic Church.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 17th, 2022 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - NE, 3047 East Dublin Granville Road, Columbus - OH 43231. Mass will be held on Thursday, August 18th, 2022 at 11:00 am at St. Matthias Catholic Church, 1582 Ferris Rd, Columbus, OH 43224. Burial will follow in procession to Resurrection Cemetery, Lewis Center - OH.
