Annalene Ward (Bates), 77 years old, longtime Columbus resident, passed away peacefully at home on January 30th, 2010. Annalene is survived by her husband of 56 years, Arthur Ray Ward, children, Sandra (Ramon) Valencia, Clarence (The Late Deborah) Ward, Roger (Ann-Beth) Ward, Karlene (The Late Rickey) Maynard and Darlene (Paul) Duehren, four sisters, six brothers, twelve grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents Willie and Lula (Tackett) Bates, brothers Tennis and Otis Cleo Bates, sister Wilma Jean Little and grandson Jonathan Maynard. Annalene leaves behind many family members, friends and neighbors, all who will miss her unique devotion and endless generosity.
Service will be Friday, February 5th, 2010 at 1:00 PM, at Newcomer Funeral Home SW, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH.
