Anne-Marie Roberte Reichel, 79, passed away on Sunday, March 17, 2019 in Columbus, Ohio. Anne-Marie was born on October 6, 1939 in France to the late Jean Robert Reichel and Jeanne Marguerite (Drouilly) Reichel.
In addition to her parents, Anne-Marie is preceded in death by her sister, Christiane Russell.
She is survived by her loving significant other, James Easley; sisters, Colette Dennis, Monique Brown, Arlette (Philip) Griner and Bernadette Williams.
Anne-Marie immigrated with her sisters to the United States just after World War II. She lived in Columbus where she eventually met Jim Easley. She worked for the Schiff Shoe Corporation as a record keeper. Anne-Marie was known for having the highest virtues, being reliable, responsible, generous, thoughtful, affectionate, loving, forgiving, never holding a grudge and never arguing. Her every thought was to always help others. She was not interested in material possessions. Anne-Marie's favorite hobby was knitting.
Family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 26, 2019 from 10 am to 11 am at Newcomer Northeast Chapel, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, Ohio 43231. A funeral service will immediately follow at 11 am at the funeral home. A graveside service will be held at 1 pm at Union Cemetery.
