Annette Grooms-Morris, 54, of Columbus, born on February 2, 1968, to Alton Grooms and Cecelia Hartley, passed away at home on January 23, 2023 peacfully in her sleep.
She dedicated her life to her three children Kevin, Krysta and Brandi. After retiring in 2017, she enjoyed spending her time with her grandchildren. She was a mother and friend to everyone she would meet. You could call her anytime of day even if it was just to ask for directions from her inner gps. She could get you home no matter where you were. If you just needed to talk she would be an ear to listen and offer advice in the best and worse times.
Annette was preceded in death by her son Kevin Birchfield, brother Kevin Taynor, and mother Cecelia Hartley. Annette is survived by father Alton Grooms, siblings David Grooms, Paul Taynor, Terena Grooms and Mark Grooms, including Kristen Ober. Daughters Krysta Morris, Brandi (Dustin) Morris-Holland, including Meagan Webb and Kandice Birchfield. Grandchildren Anastasia Holland, Evelyn Birchfield, Scarlett Morris, including Nevaeh Daniels and Clarissa Webb.
Memorial Gathering Friday, February 17, 2023 from 3-5pm at Newcomer, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Brandi Morris for funeral arrangements.
