Anthony G. Cuccaro passed peacefully on January 29th at age 91 while surrounded by his family at home in Dublin, OH. Tony was born on December 18, 1933, in Pittsburgh, PA. He served in the US Army from 1954-56 while stationed in Alaska post the Korean War. He married his high school sweetheart, Lois (nee Frederick), in 1957 and they were married 64 years before Lois passed in 2021. Together they had three children, Lynn, Lisa, and Scott. The family moved to Hamilton, OH in 1965 where they raised their family and spent many happy years. Tony relocated to Columbus, OH in 1991 and soon retired from the Ohio Casualty Company after 27 years of service. Tony was a kindhearted soul, and family was his life. Nothing made him happier than rolling meatballs for a Sunday pasta dinner. A true Italian, he was joyous when surrounded by family and friends at the dinner table enjoying his home cooking. He also enjoyed playing golf and was a volunteer ranger at several golf courses in Ohio and at their Naples, FL winter home. He also loved his Pittsburgh Steelers and faithfully watched their games every week. Tony is preceded in death by his wife Lois and his daughter Lynn Sunderman. He is survived by his daughter Lisa (Bob) Weisberg of Dublin, OH, son Scott Cuccaro of Scottsdale, AZ, granddaughters Holly Sunderman of Dublin, OH, Michelle (Marc) Sunderman of Clintonville, OH along with many loving nieces and nephews.
