Anthony E. Parsons

April 27, 1951 — February 16, 2024

Anthony "Tony" Parsons, April 27, 1951 to February 16, 2024. He was preceded in death by his mother, Sandy; father, Wilbur; and brother, Danny. Tony is survived by his wife of 51 years, Ruth; children, James (Donna), Tony Jr. (Annie), Michelle (John), Toni (Chance); grandchildren, Jayme, Sabrina, Jordan, Madison, Dena, AJ, Corey, Dylan, and Anthony.

Tony served our country in the US Navy during the Vietnam War as a boiler tech on the USS Mississinewa. After the service he was a material handler and worked for Griffin Wheel in various roles.

Tony put his family first and bled Scarlet and Grey. Anthony, also known as Buckeye Tony to all his friends and family, loved being a handy man - from building to fixing to painting, he was always doing something. He now has the best seat in the house for the OSU games.
