Ardyth Wilson

May 22, 1958 — May 19, 2024

Ardyth Jose Wilson was born on May 22nd,1958, and the second to the oldest child of 7. Ardyth was called to his heavenly home with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on May 19th, 2024. Ardyth was the son of William and Minnie Wilson, who proceeded him in death along with oldest brother Maurice and sister, Jeanita Dukes.

To family and friends Ardyth was known in short as either, “Ardy” or "Art". Ardy was loved dearly for 23 years by his beloved wife Belinda until his death, they enjoyed spending time together by having backyard fires listening to soft music. Ardy was a high school graduate of Westland High School, and he had a love for art with a natural talent to draw. Ardy enjoyed going to wine vineyards, watching his favorite teams play. He would either say, "Let's Go Blue" or "Let's go Steelers". Growing up in the household of 5 sisters, Ardy sang tenor with the family group and the protector of his family. He was also known to be a trickster amongst his family and his friends. While growing up and even as an adult, Ardy enjoyed his collection of comic books, playing basketball, watching football, firing up the grill, and his large collection of albums , for we know Ardy had a passion for and about his music, Ardy will be missed by all who knew him along with his God Mother, Mary Moore. Ardy leaves behind his sisters: Vernita (Kirby) Mitchell, Wendy Wilson, Kimberly Wilson, Sarah Baker (Wilson) His children: William "Raymond" Wilson (Shayla), Christopher Andrew Wilson (Shaynaya), Jamie Jose Walker. Daughters by marriage, Brittany Carr and Jessica Carr. There are 14 grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

One thing we know is, Ardy loved the Lord, but Christ loves him even more. We know there is hope in Christ Jesus that one day, we will rejoice, sing, and worship together eternally in that resting place in God. Ardys’ wish was that we all forgive, repent, and accept Christ as a personal Savior, so we can see him again.
