Ariel N. Sturgeon, 77, passed away September 7, 2007. He was preceded in death by his parents, Napoleon and Bessie Sturgeon and grandson, Jason Sturgeon. Ariel is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, June; daughter, Sheila (Phil) Gressett; son, Greg (Rita) Sturgeon; grandchildren, Tara (Brian) Phipps, Tracy (Jeff) Barton, Christopher (Amy) Tippett, Catherine (Richie) Brown, Mindy Sturgeon, Angela (Robert) Jones; 13 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Louisa Hamilton, June Dixon and brother, Lewis Sturgeon. Ariel was a lifetime member of Ohio Operating Engineers Local #18. He loved to spend his time fishing and hunting. Visitation will be held 2:00-4:00PM and 6:00-8:00PM Monday, September 10, 2007 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio. Funeral services will be held 11:00AM Tuesday, September 11, 2007 at the funeral home with visitation one hour prior to the service. Pastor Dale George will be officiating with interment at Fernwood Cemetery. Messages of condolence may be left at www.NewcomerFamily.com
