Arlen "Bud" Brinson age 90 formerly of Johnstown passed away at home on November 14, 2022.
Arlen was born in Madison, IN. on April 7, 1932 to Earl and Bessie Brinson. Arlen attended New Marion high school in New Marion, IN and graduated in 1950.
Arlen worked at North American/Boeing for 35 years and also worked as a carpenter. He enjoyed camping and fishing in his spare time along with spending time with his family. Arlen entered the Army and fought in the Korean War.
Arlen is proceeded in death by parents Earl and Bessie Brinson; wife, Vera Brinson and grand daughter, Amanda Brinson.
He is also survived by his children Rich (Darlene) Brinson of New Albany, Donna (John) Collins of New Lexington, Robert Brinson of New Lexington, Connie (Dave) Jakeway of Johnstown, Jill (Jim) McGee of Johnstown and Kerri (David) Woods of Columbus. Arlen is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at Green Hill Cemetery in Johnstown on November 28, 2022 at 10am with Newcomer Funeral Home assisting with Sherri Cummins officiating.
There will be a Celebration of Life along with a birthday party for Vera Brinson at the Monroe township building following the service.
