Arnie C. Copeland, 93, answered the Master's call to that Home that is free from pain and suffering, Monday, September 26, 2011. Arnie was born in Grantsville, GA May 10, 1918, to Thomas Heard and Annie Lou (Meriweather) Heard. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clarence Copeland; daughters, Carolyn Copeland and Roslyn George; granddaughter, Ieasha Young. Survivors include her daughters, Betty J. (Herbert) Wilson and Marcia Leath; sons, Larry (Susan) Copeland, Harry Copeland, Clarence Copeland; 12 grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, October 3, 2011, 11:00 AM at St John Missionary Baptist Church, 436 South Seventh Street, Reading, PA 19602 with Visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment to follow at Berks County Memorial Gardens.
