CREASAP

Arthur Eugene Creasap, 81, beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on Sunday, January 22, 2012, at New Albany Gardens and Care Center. Art was born on May 26, 1930 in Alliance, OH to Vernon Ross and Lucy Ethel (Van Gordon) Creasap. He was a 1948 graduate of Claridon High School. A U.S. Army veteran, he was stationed in Japan from 1951-1953. There he met the love of his life, Kazue (Bunny) Kurosawa. He and Bunny were married 60 years. Art retired with 30 years of service from the Department of Administrative Services, State of Ohio. He was a member of the Jersey Baptist church and the Moose Lodge #11. He was an avid golfer and OSU football and basketball fan. He also loved to follow the Cleveland Browns and Cleveland Indians. Survived by wife Kazue (Bunny) Creasap; son and daughter-in-law, Marty and Brenda Creasap of Indianapolis, IN; daughters, and sons-in-law, Sandy and Steve Carver of Westerville, OH and Gloria and Bruce Mansfield of Pataskala, OH. and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Calling hours will be Friday, January 27, 2012, 5-8 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin Granville Road, Columbus, OH with the Funeral Service on Saturday, January 28, 2012, 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Maplewood Cemetery, New Albany, OH.
