Arthur Ward

Arthur Ray Ward, 89, September 10, 1932 – December 14, 2021 from Wheelwright, Kentucky. Preceded in death by wife Annalene Bates Ward, father Bennie Ward, mother Pearl Dobbins Ward, brothers Bill Ward, Clarence Ward, Bobby Ward, and Herman Ward, grandson Jonathan Maynard, daughter-in-law Deborah Ward, son-in-law Rick Maynard. Survived by Children Sandra Ward Valencia (Ramon), Clarence A. Ward, Roger Ward (Ann-Beth), Darlene Ward Duehren (Paul), and Karlene Ward Maynard, Sister Anna Faye Ward Denny, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, and sisters-in-law. A retired journeyman machinist from Techneglas, Art was recognized for his strong work ethic. Known as Ray to friends and family, his love of photography kept him busy taking and printing pictures that will keep memories alive for ages. An avid camper, he loved spending time roaming the hills of Kentucky with kids and grandkids, who will never forget the stories he used to tell.
