Auburn "Red, Orbie" Salyer, 74, of Columbus, passed away Wednesday, June 13, 2007 at his residence. He was born April 7, 1933, in Dungannon, VA., son of the late Frank and Sarah Cox Salyer. Red is survived by his wife, Rosa Bohem Salyer; son, Jarrett Salyer; daughter, Sarah Salyer; sister, Vinny Fish; grandchildren, Sylvia, Lucinda and Sierra. Visitation will be Sunday, June 17, 2007 from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home N.E. Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus. Graveside service will be Monday, June 18, 2007 at 10:00 AM at Arlington Field of Honor, Canal Winchester. Messages of condolence may be left at www.NewcomerFamily.com
