Azucena C. "Susan" Calderon, 91, Columbus, passed away Monday, December 17, 2012. Susan was born in the Philippines on July 31, 1921 to Hermogenes and Cesarea (Belarmino) Cortez and is preceded in death her parents and husband, Agustin Calderon.
Survivors include her daughters, Dr. Melba (Dr. Tristan) Briones and Merlene (Dale) Lambert; sons, Gil (Sally) Calderon, Mario Calderon, Bernardo (Judy) Calderon; sisters, Rosenda and Milang; grandchildren, Carlomagno Briones, MD, Cyllene Briones, MD, Christine Briones, MD, Mariele Briones, MD, Tristan Briones, MD, Monica Calderon, MD, Melchor Calderon, Mervin Calderon, Marilou Calderon; 13 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday, December 22, 2012, 10:00 AM at St. Paul Catholic Church, 313 North State Street, Westerville, OH 43082, Father David E. Gwinner, Celebrant. Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, OH is honored to serve the Calderon Family.
