Barbara Jean Allen

Barbara Jean Allen (Hall) age 80 years old of Columbus, Ohio, gained her wings on August 19, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Mingo County, West Virginia to the late Rush and Mae Hall. She is preceded in death by her loving husband James Allen of 53 years, her brother Rush Hall Jr., sister Katherine Curry (Hall). She is survived by son and caregiver John Allen (Laura), daughter Lisa (BJ) Coleman, step-son James (Tina) Allen, grandchildren Amanda (Lee) Tracy, Ashley (Chris) Bradley, Daniel Stewart (Laura), Whitney (Zach) Morrison, great grandchildren Lee Jr, Noah, Laila, Caleb, Joshua, Eliana, Elijah, Lydia, sister Lavanda Pfost (Hall), brother Ronald Hall, many nieces, nephews and friends. She worked at Fedral Glass and was VP of the Union Until they closed in 1979, she then went onto work at Anchor Hocking and Subway until she wanted to start enjoying more time with her family and enjoying life helping others, yard saling, bingo and spending time at her camper.

Friends may call at the NEWCOMER SOUTHWEST CHAPEL 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio 43123 on Tuesday, August 29, 2023 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm, where funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 30, 2023 at 12:00pm. Interment to follow at Green Lawn Cemetery.
