Barbara Bausenwein

Barbara Jane Bausenwein (nee Richardson) died at home in Columbus, Ohio on December 29, 2002 after a long battle with cancer. She is preceded in death by her husband John Bausenwein, her parents Beatrice Hingston Richardson and C. Herbert Richardson, her brother C. Herbert Richardson II, and great-grandson, Cody Bausenwein. She is survived by her children: Leah Guthrie (Jacksonville, Fl), Debora Bausenwein (Monticello, NY), Jon Bausenwein (Columbus, Oh), Henry Bausenwein (Chenango Forks, NY), Peter Bausenwein (Buffalo, NY), and Herbert Bausenwein (Las Vegas. NV)and Florence Morgan (New York); her stepchildren: JoAnn Palermo (Buffalo, NY) and John Bausenwein, Jr. (Arcadia, NY); 28 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren. Barbara was a member of the Degree of Pocahontas, Order of Redman in Buffalo, NY and is a Past Pocahontas of the Great Council of New York State. She served as a Captain in the Civil Air Patrol in Broome County, NY; Jacksonville, Fl and Columbus Oh. She has touched the lives of many people and will be greatly missed by all that knew her as "Mom" or Friend. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to either the American Cancer Society or local Hospice or Palliative Care Facility. Private family services. Inurnment will be in Resthaven Cemetery in North Tonawanda, NY. Arrangements completed with NEWCOMER-FARLEY FUNERAL HOME 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Road. Columbus.
