Bostic
Barbara Rose Bostic, 66 of Columbus passed away on December 1, 2005 at her residence after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. She is preceded in death by her Parents Maurice and Iola Bostic, along with nephew Birch Bostic. She was one of the first graduates of The Ohio State University school of Physical Therapy and retired from the OSU University Hospital as Director of Outpatient Rehabilitation. She is survived by her life partner, Helen Duffy; Brothers, Ray (Pat) of Columbus, Don (Ruth) of St. Johnsbury, VT, Jim (Andrea) of Shreveport, LA; Nieces and Nephews, Barry Bostic, Bonnie Purdy, Beth Hazard, Bric Bostic, David Bostic, Chris Bostic, Glenn Bostic, Denice Bostic, Cindy Dewitt and an abundance of good friends. Among her many interests she was an avid Buckeye fan.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Riverside United Methodist Church, 2701 Zollinger Road on Tuesday, December 6, 2005 at 4:00 P.M. with Rev. David Griebner officiating at the service. Family and friends will receive guests one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the S. Maurice Bostic and Birch S. M .
