BROWNRIGG (Cartwright)
Barbara N. Brownrigg, 79, passed away on March 11, 2008, after a courageous fight with cancer. Born to the late Edson and Velma Jones on January 22, 1929, Barbara is also preceded in death by her first husband, Robert B. Cartwright and brother, Robert Jones. Survivors include her loving husband, John Brownrigg; daughters, Debbie (Jim) Lamb, Laurie (Dale) Corbett; son, Robert (Kathleen) Cartwright; grandchildren, Chris Hackett, Michelle Hackett, R. Jason (Mandy) Corbett, Jacquelyn (Rory) O'Reilly, Robert B. Corbett; 18 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Barbara is also survived by her husband's children; Jane (Steve) Marks, Jo (Wade) Burritt, John (Tanya) Brownrigg Jr, Ann (Tim) Carroll, Bill Brownrigg. She was a member of Lincoln Baptist Church where she served as Administrative Assistant for 27 years, President of Robert Cartwright Cancer Ray Foundation, past President and a member of several Women's Clubs and a Chairman of Stonecroft Ministry. Barbara was a passionate gardener who loved entertaining and spending time with family and friends. A special thanks to Nick Blanton and his staff at the Blanton House. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 14, 2008, 12:00 - 2:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH with a memorial service to follow at 2:00 PM.
