Barbara Ann Derifield
January 20, 1945 — July 25, 2022
Barbara Ann Derifield met the Lord on July 25, 2022. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and friend. Her family was the joy of her life.
She was preceded in death by husband, Glenn Derifield; granddaughter, Madison Van Fossen; sister, Verna McClaskey; brother, Paul David Brown. Barbara is survived by daughters, Paula (Randy) Basalla and Amy (Matt) Van Fossen; grandsons, Jonathan (Megan) Basalla, Dustin Basalla, Cody Derifield, and Gavin Van Fossen; five great-grandsons.
Barbara was a great friend and made the best of what life threw at her throughout the years; but like a phoenix, she would rise from the ashes and endure. She instilled in us, a deep abiding faith, that gives us a comfort that we will see her again.
Visitation Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2022 from 12pm until the time of Funeral Service at 1pm at Newcomer, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Interment to follow at Concord Cemetery (old), Grove City, OH.
