Barbara J Ebert

Barbara J. Ebert, age 85 of Columbus, passed away on June 23, 2021. She was born on July 29, 1935 to the late Raymond and Vera (Schopp) Kirk in Columbus, OH. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by son Larry G. Ebert Jr., siblings Martha "June" Bainter, Edwin C. Kirk and Patricia A. Hammond. Barbara is survived by son John J. (Nichole) Ebert, daughter-in-law Mary Ann Ebert, grandchildren Larry G. (Samantha) Ebert III, Emily A. Hall, Logan J. (Abbey) Ebert, Michael A. Ebert and Seth P. Ebert, great grandchildren Robin P. Ebert, Elijah J. Ebert, Braxton S. Hall and Natalie J. Ebert, many nieces and nephews.

She graduated from Holy Family High School.

Barbara loved being a mom, grandma, great grandma and was an avid Buckeye Fan.

She was a member of Christian Mothers Guild, Red Hats, American Legion, VFW, Moose Lodge and Humdinger Band. Barbara retired from the State of Ohio Health Department after 36 years, member of Holy Family Church.

Friends may call at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH on Wednesday, June 30, 2021 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm.

Mass will be held on Thursday at Holy Family Church, 584 W. Broad St., Columbus, OH at 9:00am.

Burial to follow at Green Lawn Cemetery, Columbus, OH.
