Barbara J. Idle

Barbara Idle, 87, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away October 13, 2022. She was born on August 25, 1935 in Huntington, West Virginia to the late Clarence W. and Lillie (Yates) Carpenter. She is preceded in death by her parents and son, Michael McCormick.

Barbara's favorite thing to do was play bingo at WCBC with her bingo family. She also enjoyed going to the casino.

Surviving family includes her daughter, Carol Barnes; grandchildren, Jamie Willis, Sabrina McCormick, Jessica; great-grandchildren, Kane Willis, Kira Willis; cousins, Sheila Braiden, Kathy Hughes.

Visitation will be held on Friday October 21, 2022 from 5pm to 7pm at Newcomer SW Chapel 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio 43123. Funeral services will be held on Saturday October 22, 2022 at 10am at the funeral home. Entombment will follow at Sunset Cemetery.
