Barbara Jean "Jinx" Jones, daughter of Edward and Lillian Witherspoon, passed away quietly in her sleep Saturday, September 12 at the Kobacker House after her battle with cancer.
She was born in 1929 and was a lifelong Upper Arlington resident.
She was preceded in death by her husband, H. Robert Jones, and survived by her children, Robin Gulcher and Kevin Jones, her stepchildren, Robert Jones and Susan Patterson, and their spouses, children, and grandchildren.
Jinx enjoyed many careers, including jazz singer, antiques dealer, realtor, artist and deputy sheriff, all of which brought her happiness.
We will host a "Celebration of Life" for friends and family at 4210 Chaucer Lane, Friday, September 18 from 4-8PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Kobacker House.
