Barbara Leonhard

Barbara J. Leonhard, 82, passed away July 13, 2015. She was preceded in death by parents, Lawrence "Toby" Husted and Ruth (Darr) Prentice; husband, Robert R. Leonhard; and many beloved felines.

Survived by children, Gary (Bev) Leonhard, Robert (Mary) Leonhard, Dan (Nancy) Leonhard and Jane (Kim) Frankeberger; grandchildren, Jeff (Marla) Leonhard, Kim (Tim) Miller, Amanda (John) Weisenbarger, Kate (Jud) Poulter and Laura (Eckart) Hilliger; great-grandchildren, Lauren, Luke, Mason, Chase, Sierra and one on the way; siblings, Nancy (Hal) Curry and Jon (Sue) Husted; five nieces; several cousins including Marty, Judy and Cathy; and beloved cat, Scottie.

Barbara adored her family and friends. She was a member of the Eastern Star; loved to read, listen to music and do puzzles. Barbara enjoyed sports and was an avid supporter of her husband in his coaching career. She worked in the public education system and supported the growth of many children, but her proudest accomplishment was her own four children.

Memorial Service Sunday, July 26, 2015 at 3:30 pm with gathering one hour prior at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Burial to take place at 11 am on Sunday, at Darling Run Cemetery, Warsaw, OH.
