Barbara J. O'Day, 86, passed away peacefully, at home, surrounded by her loving family on July 1, 2023. First and foremost, she was a LADY. Barb was preceded in death by parents, Leonard and Betty Squeo; brother, William Squeo; and grandson, David Baker. She is survived by husband of 66 years, "Daddy" John O'Day; sister, Linda Squeo; children, John Jr. (Kim) O'Day, Bill (Angela) O'Day, Amy O'Day, and Andrew O'Day; granddaughter, Alyx O'Day; great-grandchildren, Ckiler, Sydney, Haley, and David II; great-great-grandchildren, Skyla, Cayden, and Isley; sister-in-law, Linda Potts Squeo; many nieces, nephews, and numerous life long friends.
Barb is someone that will live forever through the ways she treated everyone and cared for them. Her final days were spent making us smile while sharing memories, and above all reminding us how special we all were to her. As per her request, she died cute, sassy, and quite humorous.
Private family service was held. Donations may be made in Barbara's name to Mount Carmel Hospice.
