Barbara Owen, age 84, was born on August 16, 1937 in Mingo, Ohio and passed February 17, 2022 in Grove City, OH.
Barbara was preceded in death by her Mother. Gladys (Humphrey) Pickelsimer, her Father, Orville Pickelsimer, her Husband, Roy F. Owen, and her Daughter, Kimberly Jo (Owen) Maggard.
She was survived by her Granddaughter. Kalee Maggard, and her Great Granddaughter, Riley Maggard.
She has been described as a very classy, loving, caring and tell it like it is" woman, and was the most amazing Grandmother Great Grandmother there ever was.
Barbara enjoyed her last couple years at the Homestead Village, enjoying some if her favorite days from, "Wine Down Wednesday." to Bingo Night on Tuesdays and Game Card Night on Thursdays. She loved her friends and community and they loved & adored her.
A Memorial Service will be held on March 12th, 2022 from 2:00pm - 4:00pm at the Newcomer Funeral Home in Grove City, Ohio.
