Barbara J. Pernell, "Granny" 68, passed away May 18, 2013.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Luther and Lucy Rose; son, Greg Pernell; brothers, James (Shirley) and Cecil (Jean) Rose.
Barbara is survived by her daughter, Tammy Horn; son, Shane Pernell; brothers, Thurman (Debbie), Luke (the late Pat) and Homer (Connie) Rose; special niece, Diane (James) Marcum; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
Barbara always had open arms to everyone and never turned anyone away. She cherished her family and friends dearly.
Visitation Friday, May 24, 2013 from 12-2 and 4-6 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Funeral Service Saturday, May 25, 2013 at 10 am at the Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Obetz Cemetery, Obetz, OH.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Newcomer Funeral Home to assist the family.
The family would like to thank everyone that assisted them during this difficult time.
