Barbara Faith Schultz Shade, 80, passed away April 29, 2011. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sydney and Charlotte Schultz; brother, David Schultz; son, Curtis Shade. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, E. Verne Shade; daughter, Phyllis (Erin Clark) Shade, son, Douglas (Sheila) Shade; sister, Karen (Roger) Hobbie; grandchildren, Melissa, Casey, Darian and Destiny Shade; three great-grandchildren, sister-in-law, Joyce Schultz. Barbara received her Masters Degree in Nursing from The Ohio State University in 1956. She was a member of Maranatha Baptist Church for over 40 years. Visitation Monday, May 2, 2011 from 6-8 PM and Tuesday, May 3, 2011 from 10 am until the time of Funeral Service at 11:30 am at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Interment to follow at Sunset Cemetery, Galloway, OH. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Choices (Eliminating Domestic Violence), 475 E. Mound St., Columbus, OH 43215.
